1. I took this class to get out of normal classes and be put into something that was hands-on and relevant to my future occupation.
2. What I like most about this class is being to express myself in many projects, and being able to use my creativity to solve problems.
3. What I liked least about the class was the amount of work, But it has definitely made have to become more productive.
4. My favorite Project was the 2d short because we were pretty much completely free to make a short film on anything we desired.
5. My least favorite project was the video poem because it was difficult to combine symbolic imagery with the poem, but i liked that it made me read the poem multiple times to get a full understanding of it's meaning.
6. I think that Ms. Licata is one of the greatest teachers i've ever had. I think that her approach to the subject is very clear and that she gives you adequate information on complicated subjects and is able to help you when you need it.
7. The most valuable thing I think I've Learned in class was how to meet deadlines on time. I think that this skill will be helpful in any future occupation I may have.
8. Yes, I think that this class has opened doors for me because my grades beforehand were never that good. I think that this class showed me what I'm actually good at and it made me confident in myself and my school work for once.
9. I think this class could be improved by having project deadlines more spread apart from each other because sometimes it is overwhelming and it makes it easy to forget something when you have another big project due.
10. Additional comments: I'm gonna miss everyone so much next year.

Anatomy in games
Something that I learned from this article is that the human brain subconsciously observes the relative sizes and geometric shapes when recognizing an object, leading you to be able to distinguish something even though some of it is taken or blurred out. Another thing I learned from the article is that when creating fictional humaniod characters, Creators usually take the basic human anatomy and tweak certain sections of it slightly to make it have a sort of "evolution" factor to it. I also learned that when creating characters for video games the shape of the creature is the most important feature, not the details and not the textures. Something I liked about this article is that it provides helpful tips and information for when youre creating characters for video games. Something I didnt like about this article is that it was sort of all over the place. A question I have about the article is why have i never heard of this site before???
Cartoonists
Something I learned from this article is that Fred Seibert, Producer of shows like Courage The Cowardly Dog and Adventure Time has been focused on youtube since 2012, and calls it the "Woodstock" of television. Another thing I learned from this article is that Simon's Cat is the second largest animation channel on youtube. I also learned that after only two episodes, the Kickstarter for Bee and PuppyCat raised almost $900,000 Dollars. Something I liked about this article is that it talked about how people are becoming successful off of animations put on youtube that are free from the tyranny of big broadcasting companies. Another thing I liked about the article is that it talked about many different animation series. A question I have about the article is what in the heck is that very first photo... :o
This Week
This week sucked. Something that frustrated me this week was getting OSS for 3 days, yay now im even further behind on my work! Something that made me happy this week was purchasing a longboard. Something that I learned this week is that my school is pretty lame and I cannot wait to graduate. Something that I'd like to learn in the future is how to be more on time with my work. Here's a cool link http://youtu.be/D4HbWhri7Tc It's a video featuring 50 photography tips, I thought it was pretty helpful.

This week
This Week sucks. Something that frustrated me this week was balancing work and trying to find time to film my independent study and coming up with an idea for my final exam. Nothing made me happy this week. Something I learned this week was that this stress is never ending and its going to kill me. Something I wanna learn in the future is how to get a head start on things and how to work around writers block. Heres a cool link http://youtu.be/wc-od-OP5Sc it's an update on the upcoming Star Wars film, Star Wars VII. It states that the original actors of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia will return for their roles. Kinda strange, the only actor whos really had a huge career after the original 3 Star wars films has been Harrison Ford, but he's getting old.

Human Eyes Versus Cameras
Something I learned from this article is that the process of video cameras taking still images and then playing them back in sequential order at a frame rate is called "beta movement". Another thing I learned is that the word "Video" comes from the latin word for "I See". I Also Learned that how far pixels are from one another is called spacial resolution. Something I liked about this article is that It provided a bunch of cool information about resolution. Another Thing I liked about this article is that it answers a question I had, and thats how cameras compare to human eyesight. A question I have about the article is are people wondering the answers to this question so that they can make things like prosthetic electronic eyes? that would be cool.
This Week
This week was okay, something that made me happy this week was getting alot of hours at work, that might sound weird but I need the money. Something that Frustrated me this week was being so behind on my work. Something that I learned this week was how to truly read and understand poetry. Something that I'd like to learn in the future is how to be better at making films. Here's a link https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1523379957/oculus-rift-step-into-the-game It's a link to the kickstarter page for Oculus Rift, a Virtual Reality system thats in development and was recently purchased by facebook strangely enough....

This week
This week was alright. Something that made me happy this week is that It's my birthday next week! Something that Frustrated me this week was not placing in the Skills USA Regionals Competition, and then being sick on friday and all weekend. Something that I learned this week is that I suck when working under pressure. Something that I would like to learn in the future is how to deal with the pressure and let my creativity come into action. Here's a cool link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gdv55pki5As it's a remake of pulp fiction as an 8 Bit Game, It's so cool!

Church of Comedy
Something that I learned about this article is that the Director of Wedding Crashers and The Change-up isn't, never was a very funny person. (That's Ironic.) I also learned that he decided to go into this genre just because it was the first door that was opened to him. Another thing I learned is that actors have to be funny actors in order to work as funny people in comedies, and that theres no exception. Something that I liked about this article is that it shows how people can learn to adapt themselves into something even if it doesn't really come to them naturally. Something I didn't like about the article is the like constant Christianity joke behind the article, It's not really offensive, but I just don't see the reasoning behind it. A question I have about the article is So if a Unfunny director makes funny movies, Is Michael Bay a good person who makes bad movies?
Lego Movie
Something that I learned from this article is that The Lego Movie Surpassed $200 Million at the Box Office. I also learned that they took some interesting lighting techniques from other films and used them in theirs. Another thing I learned from the article is that in the film they took some realistic elements away from the film to show off the backgrounds. Something that I liked about this article is that the tips given are actually pretty good and interesting. Another thing I liked about the article is that it addresses an interesting topic: how they made The Lego Movie look so cool. A question I have about the article is why did they choose to add batman into the movie?
This Week
This week was pretty good, Something that made me happy this week was getting my license. (Finally!) Something that frustrated me this week was Trig class. Something that I learned this week is how to do big jumps while skiing, it's really exhilarating. Something I would like to learn in the future Is how to make iphone games. Here's a cool link http://youtu.be/UqRSa30a7Ps it's a minecraft animation and I thought it was really cool how this guy integrates minecraft with animation, I think that the animation is very well done and that it is very entertaining.

This Week
This week sucked. Something that I learned this week is that I need glasses. Something that frustrated me this week is the amount of work that was piled up on me, Im really sick of school in every single aspect. Nothing made me happy this week. Something I'd like to learn in the future is how to get my work done without stressing out, Here's a cool link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kti1zWLvTLw it's another trailer recut, and it's hilarious XD

This Week
This Week was good, Something that made me happy this week was getting a 91 on my Trig test. Something that frustrated me this week was that my PSA didn't come out how I hoped it would. Something that I learned this week was what "Contrast Ratio" meant, and I also learned a whole bunch of other things about lighting. Something that I'd like to learn in the future is how to write better scripts. Here's a cool link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TuRbk-00Sw it's a Trailer recut mashup of the Disney/Pixar movie Up, and the movie Gran Torino. I thought that it was hilarious and that the scenes chosen fit the dialogue very well.

Despicable Me
Something that I learned from this article is that originally the minions in Despicable Me were supposed to be hulking monsters, not the tiny one eyed, innocent looking things that they are in the movie. Another thing that I learned from the article is that the Directors of Despicable Me are constantly trying to keep their animation artists away from clichés. I also learned that Pierre Coffin, one of the directors of the movie, originally thought that Despicable Me was going to fail. Something that I liked about this article is that it talks about a lot of the choices and changes that the directors made that probably led to the movie's success. Another thing I liked about the article is that it's discussing A hit movie that came from a studio that has only been around for a few years, and the choices that were made to make it a hit. A question I have about the article is why was Steve Carell chosen as the voice of Gru.
Computer generated Cinemotography
Something that I learned from this article is that the Academy Award for Best Cinematography has gone to movies with heavy amounts of CGI three times in the past four years. Another thing I learned from the article is that the Cinematographer for the movie Gravity, Emmanuel Lubezki, was present throughout the entire effects and compositing post-production of the film to ensure that it kept his cinematic touch. I also learned that some people believe that these movies that are heavily computer generated should be in a separate category than those that are not when it comes to awards. Something that I liked about this article is that it showed the differences between "traditional cinematography" and "Virtual Cinematography" but showed how both can be equally powerful. Something that I didnt like about this article is that I didnt learn much from it. A question I have about this article is how doesnt the Academy see that the movies that are heavily CGI have an obvious advantage to those that arent when it comes to lighting and camera movement?
Weekly Post
This week was okay, Something that made me happy this week was having two snowdays. Something that frustrated me this week was trying to find an Idea for my PSA. Something that I learned this week is that I'm not very good at making movies. Something I'd like to learn in the future is how to be more creative and have better ideas, if thats possible to learn. Here's a cool link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0LCmStIw9E it's a REALLY graphic texting and driving PSA, I thought it was relevant to our project because its really powerful and is probably one of the most successful PSA's that i've seen, successful as in it gets it's point across.
